Governor's School of LACH

Current 8th grade students are encouraged to apply to the Governor’s School of Literacy through Arts, Culture, and History (GSLACH) where literacy becomes the focus of study through reading, writing, speaking and listening, language, and journalism.

Students are provided opportunities to explore college campus programs of study and engage with faculty within the disciplines of arts, culture, and history.

The West Virginia Culture Center leads this work to bring likeminded students together for a six-day experience.
