Math
Standards
- OA.4 Use addition to find the total number of objects arranged in rectangular arrays with up to 5 rows and up to 5 columns; write an equation to express the total as a sum of equal addends.
- MD.7 Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m.
- NBT.3 Read and write numbers, within 1,000, using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
Students will understand that...
1. I can draw an array and write repeated addition sentence(s) to express the total sum using equal addends.
2. I can skip count by fives to identify times given on an analog or digital clock.
3. I can read and write numbers to 1,000 in different ways.

- PS.2.2 Understand the relationship between sound and vibrating objects.
- PS.2.2.1 Carry out investigations to illustrate how sound is produced by vibrating objects and columns of air.
- PS.2.2.2 Use models to summarize the relationship between sound and how sounds are produced and detected by parts of the body that vibrate.

1. I can describe the relationship between sound and vibrating objects.

Reminders
Personal Student Devices + Smart Watches
Student are not allowed to bring personal laptop devices to school. If they bring a phone, it must be kept in their backpacks and turned on silten at all times. Smart watches may be worn but need to be in airplane mode. They may not be used to play games, make phone calls and/or take pictures on campus.
