This week was a fun one at Wass! We are so excited to launch our annual Pajama Drive. See the flyer in this week's Howl! Next week is going to be just a wonderful with our school wide field trip to see Shrek!

We are thrilled to announce that Wass will have the opportunity to attend Shrek the Musical at Athens High School on Wednesday, November 20th! We will take busses to Athens around 9:30 and will return to Wass around 12:30. Students will eat lunch when they return to Wass. If your child will be buying a lunch that day, the menu will remain the same and hot lunch options will be available.

Thanks to our generous PTO for covering the cost of bus transportation that day! We are asking families to pay for the cost of the ticket which is $10/student.

Our Robotics team, Electro Eels, advanced to the FLL, MI State championship!

Electro Eels qualified as the top team overall and the highest robot game scorer at SHARKFEST FIRST LEGO League Qualifier, held on November 9th at Troy High School. 32 robotics teams participated in this event.

Congratulations to the following team members:

Grade 5: Deepak, Aalap and Siddharth N.

Thank you to those who joined us for our PTO meeting last night and for those of you who have been so crucial in assisting all of the PTO events this year so far!

At our meeting we were able to see exciting plans for our new playgrounds being installed next fall! We heard about the field trips that our kids have gotten to participate in due to the funds raised by our community throughout the school year and future plans for how we will continue to invest in our kids.
