See below for our semester exam schedule, which includes half days prior to the winter break.
Semester Grading
Please refer to the below chart to determine final semester grades for non-EOC classes. Each quarter grade is worth 40% and the semester exam is worth 20%.
***Students who miss more than 10 days in the semester (more than 5 block periods or more than 10 5th period classes) MUST pass the semester exam with a D or higher to earn credit for the class.
EOC classes (Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, US History honors) do not result in a semester grade or credit so the below chart does not apply. Students will receive 1 grade in June and the EOC exam is 30% of the final grade.
Community Service
All high school students need at least 20 hours of community service for graduation. Students who wish to earn the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship must have at least 75 or 100 hours. Please reference the Community Service Referrals and Guideines.
IB students have different community service requirements depending on grade level and program; please refer to your ManageBac files for detailed information.
Students, see below for a 2 great opportunities to earn hours during the holiday season. When signing up, use your personal email address, as your student email address cannot receive responses.
