Challenger Middle School Mission
To provide an exemplary education that develops critical thinking and problem solving skills which inspire our students to challenge their minds and charge their spirits.
Principal's Corner
Dear Challenger Middle School Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you and your families had a joyful and restful holiday season. As we step into 2025, I am filled with excitement and optimism for the opportunities ahead for our students, staff, and community. With the first semester wrapping up on January 10th, letβs work together to ensure that all our Chargers finish strong. This is the time to reflect on their progress during the first semester and set goals for an even more successful second semester.
On Monday, January 13th, we start the second semester. As we begin the new semester, I encourage all students to start fresh, stay organized, and commit to their academic and personal growth. Letβs continue to build momentum weβve created to make 2025 a remarkable year. How are you planning on getting 1% better this year?
We have some great school and community events planned for this upcoming semester. Be on the lookout for more details in the coming weeks. Additionally, our next SAC/PTO meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13th, at 5:30pm in the media center. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and be involved in important decisions that impact our school community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we will make this semester one of growth, success, and new achievements.
Letβs work together to make Challenger Middle 1% better in 2025!
Respectfully,
Chris Drake

Every Day Counts
Missing a day of school here and there may not seem like much, but absences add up!
When a student misses 2 days a month... they end up missing 20 days a year, and will have missed over 1 year of learning by the time they graduate.

Student & Teacher Appreciation
Dear Parents and Community Members,
We are excited to invite you to support two important initiatives that positively impact our school community! Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program rewards students for their dedication to respect, responsibility, and excellence, while our teacher appreciation efforts aim to recognize and celebrate the hard work of our amazing educators. To make contributing easy, weβve created an Amazon wish list with suggested items you can purchase for student rewards and teacher appreciation gifts. Your generosity will help us foster a positive environment and show our students and teachers how much they are valued. Thank you for your support!
