It's been another busy week filled with learning and fun at Arrowwood with visitors, presentations, and field trips. Be sure to ask your child about Consumer's Energy, Michigan history, or their non-fiction unit in literacy.

Report cards did come home this week with your child or are available on Skyward Family. If you have any questions regarding where your student is at or would like suggestions on how to best support your child's learning, please reach out to their classroom teacher directly via phone or email to get more information. Our teachers love partnering with families for the success of all of their students and celebrating the learning happening in their classrooms with your child!

Arrowwood Elementary is currently seeking 1 individual to work as a lunch aid with the Eagles. Candidates must love kids, enjoying playing sports, and helping students with lunch. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Ms. D'Haene

Report cards will be available to parents online and in paper form on November 12th. STCS elementary schools use standards based grading which aligns your child's progress to specific learning targets. The 4-3-2-1 scale reflects your student's progress for each area with a 3 being on grade level and where we want students to be. The scale does not correspond to traditional letter grades. Please see this graphic below with further information on standards based grading and our rubric. If you have any questions after reviewing your child's report cards, please reach out to their teacher for further explanation or clarification.
