- 9:17 a.m. First bell - Students go to their classrooms
- 9:25 a.m. Second bell - Classes begin
End of School Day
- 3:52 p.m. First dismissal bell
- 3:55 p.m. Second dismissal bell
- 4:00 p.m. Buses leave
End of Day Checkout Process For the 2024-25 School Year
If you need to pick your child up before our end-of-the-day dismissal, we are asking you to do this before 3:30 p.m. Due to heavy volume in the front office, we cannot check out students from 3:30-3:55 p.m due to capacity. We made this change to ensure we get each child where they need to be. We appreciate you picking up your child before 3:30 p.m. or at dismissal.
iPad Information for the 24-25 School Year
Eastview Families,
All K-5 iPads that were issued last year, along with the charging cords and charging blocks should now be at school. If your student still has any of these items at home, please send them to school right away. Thank you for your quick attention to returning all iPads and chargers.
Incoming 1st-5th graders: On the first day of school, all students should bring their iPad, charging cord and charging brick.
Incoming Kindergarteners: Your students will receive an iPad in their classroom within the first week of school.
This year we will be doing a gradual release of devices, which means students will not take their iPads home right away. In general, we will follow this schedule.
Kindergarten - Grade 2: iPads remain at school full-time unless for 2nd grade special projects after MEA break
Grade 3: iPads can be sent home starting the day before winter break unless for special projects after MEA break
Grades 4-5: iPads can be sent home starting the week of MEA break
This allows teachers time to teach responsible iPad use, and set expectations so that students have the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use their iPads to enhance their learning prior to bringing them home. We will continue to reinforce rules and expectations with students throughout the school year and teach lessons on digital citizenship. Additionally, we will share tools and tips with parents/guardians throughout the year, to help you help your students be successful.
Thank you for your support.
