Hockey Championship
We are Panther Proud to announce that East Pennsboro Elementary student Tessa Stephenson’s hockey team won the Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF) 10U Gretzky Title! Tessa is a 5th grader in Mrs. Crowther’s class, and this was a huge accomplishment for her and her team. Her team won round robin, advanced to the semi-finals, and then won the championship game this past Monday. Congratulations to Tessa!
Region V Band Fesitval
Our very own Raven Smith, a junior at East Pennsboro Area High School, represented us proudly at the very prestigious Region V Band Festival held February 22 – 24, 2024 at Eastern York High School. This highly competitive event drew talented musicians from across 15 Pennsylvania Counties and only 145 students selected from about 60 school districts through rigorous, blind auditions. Raven is a dedicated member of the high school band program, the drum major of our marching band, a student member of the professional pit orchestra for the musical, a talented runner, and a leader in our NJROTC program. Even with all of that on her plate, she still prepared over 120 minutes of music to travel from County Band to District Band and culminating at Region Band. The festival offered a unique opportunity for students to hone their musical talents, collaborate with peers from diverse schools and backgrounds, as well as perform under the baton of the renowned conductor, Dr. Margaret Underwood.
This is a remarkable achievement for Raven and a testament to their commitment and dedication to music. We are incredibly panther proud of her accomplishments and look forward to hearing even more from this talented student in the future!
Message from MySchoolBucks
Panther Families: Please see the important message below from MySchoolBucks. As a reminder, payment for students' meals can be paid through MySchoolBucks or by check or cash.
Thank you for trusting MySchoolBucks as your online payment portal for cafeteria payments. We are proud to partner with your program and thousands like yours, in delivering convenient and secure payment, communication, and account management services to busy families across the US.
Due to rising payment processing interchange fees and continued increases in operational costs, we’re updating the MySchoolBucks program fee that parents and guardians pay at checkout to $3.25 for all cafeteria credit/debit card prepayments beginning on March 7th. This adjustment to our program fee for school meals is necessary to continue providing you and your families with the best and most secure online payment experience, while continuing to maintain the highest levels of data privacy.
We recognize that fee updates during the school year can be disruptive, but we can no longer absorb these cost increases without negatively affecting the service we provide. Our intent for increasing our program fee is to be less impactful to your families than a one-time fee.
