CMS PEEK AT THE WEEK

Hello, CMS Parents/Guardians! This newsletter is an update of what is going on at CMS this week.

We hope everyone had a great winter break filled with relaxing time with family and friends! We are kicking off our second semester this week.

We are entering this week with VERY cold temperatures. Please encourage your student to wear weather appropriate clothing to school. All students travel between CMS and CHS at least twice daily, more for students who have a class at CHS.

When temperatures are not as cold as this week, we take students outside unless the windchill is close to freezing. To stay warm, students need to dress accordingly and wear a jacket.

• Our semester starts over this week.
• Report cards go home toward the end of the week.
• Basketball season is still in full swing.

Thursday (9th)

• Report cards from 1st semester go home

Friday (10th)

• Students will go to their new clubs for the 3rd quarter.

Mrs. Butler is happy to give the CMS MVP to Cedarville’s very own SRO, Chris Kirkendall!

Officer Kirkendall works diligently around our campus to ensure our building is secure, organizes educational opportunities for students to learn about law and the consequences that can come when the rule of law is not followed, all the while fostering a positive relationship with students and staff. He takes pride in our school and works hard to serve our district. He has been observed picking up trash all over our campus on multiple occasions, going above the call of duty. We are very fortunate to have him!
