Middleton Update
September 20, 2024
Dear Middleton Families,
Next week is a busy week at Middleton! We hope to see all of our families at school on Thursday between 5:30-7:00 for our Back-to-School Open House. (Details below). And on Friday, we will begin preparing for our annual Fun Run with our Fun Run Kick-Off Assemblies. Packets of information will come home next Friday. We hope you can join us on October 10th to cheer our kids on at the Fun Run (Details below).
Happy Weekend!

Back to School Night
- Who: All Middleton families are invited including your siblings
- When: NEXT THURSDAY: September 26th from 5:30-7:00
- What: This year's Back-to-School Night will be an Open House Style. Start in your child's classroom where you will receive a Bingo Card that will guide you through seeing your child's work in their classroom(s) as well as various adults and programs throughout the school.
- Please Note: With so many families visiting each classroom in just an hour-and-a-half, this will not be a time for teachers to talk to each family about student progress. Time will be provided for these conversations during conferences at the end of October.
Picture Day
- Picture day is October 1st!
- Look for picture packets coming home in today's backpack mail.
- You order pictures online @ mydorian.com starting today and up to four days after photo day.
- See attached flyer for more information.
Drop-Off / Pick-Up
We are aware that drop-off and pick-up times can be hectic and a bit time-consuming. We apologize for any frustrations that this may cause. We are working to improve the system and our efficiency. As we strive to improve, please keep the following in mind...
- When you are at the curb picking up your child in the car line after school, please pull forward to fill in all gaps as cars exit ahead of you, even if this means you are pulling further away from your child. We will send your child to you. Filling in these gaps will allow more cars to enter the parking lot and improve our overall efficiency.
- Please be certain to stop at the stop sign unless you see me (Natasha) waving you out of the parking lot. If this isn't happening, it's important you stop and allow traffic in other directions to also flow.
- If you drop your child off on Old Hwy 99, please be sure to park on the side of the street, and not drop off while still in the middle of traffic.
- Please remember that the streets surroundoing our school are 20 mph during school hours.
