FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

On Monday, our students arrived in uniform, energetic and ready to tackle the challenge and excitement of the new 2024-2025 school year. Thank you to our teachers who have worked so hard to prepare beautiful classrooms - ready for engaged lessons and learning. Thank you to our St. Viator families for readying students with supplies, uniforms, and support! It's going to be a fantastic year!

BOOHOO BREAKFAST

We had an awesome time at our BooHoo Breakfast! Thank you to our PTO for putting this all together and our fabulous parents for choosing St. Viator School. Welcome all new and returning families!

SEPTEMBER HOT LUNCH CARD REMINDER!

Your student's September Hot Lunch Card is due on Friday, August 23rd by 8AM. The school is calling in the lunch orders early Friday morning and no hot lunch cards can be accepted after 8am Friday.

The hot lunch fee will be invoiced via FACTS, our online payment system.

DISMISSAL AND PARKING LOT REMINDERS

NO LEFT TURN ON EASTERN:

Under NO circumstance should any car make a left onto Eastern from the school campus. Some of our families are making the decision to turn left 🤨. There is a NO LEFT TURN SIGN! Turning left is dangerous and causes a stoppage of traffic. In addition, please do not make a right onto Eastern and then make a u-turn in the school zone. This is illegal while children are present and school zone sign is lit.

STAFF PARKING LOT:

The staff lot on Eastern Ave is for handicap parking during drop off and pick up only. You may not park in a handicapped space without disabled persons plates or placards issued by a government agency. The visitor parking in the staff parking lot is not for drop-off and/or pick-up.

LOOP PARKING LOT:

The numbered staff parking in the loop is for staff members only. Kids are running unattended through the loop and down the walkway to the church parking lot. Students need to stay with their parents at all times. There are too many cars in the area and children can get hurt. Teachers are busy connecting students to cars and they have voiced concern over the children running unattended. Let's all work together to keep our students and families safe!

AS YOU PLAN YOUR LUNCHES, PLEASE CONSIDER...

New Late Lunch Drop-Off Policy:

Students must bring or purchase a nutritional lunch to school daily. Parents and students need to plan appropriately to ensure their student arrives at school with a lunch from home or one paid for through our purchase program. St Viator School offers a hot lunch program. Lunches must be purchased for each month in advance and are non-refundable, as vendors purchase food and materials in advance. The monthly lunch card order form and menu is sent home in the yellow folder. Due dates are on the card and communicated in the Viator Voice. No late Lunch orders will be accepted. Please be sure to note the days your child will be receiving hot lunch. Additionally, students may purchase daily milk through an order form sent home at the beginning of the year.

There has been an abundance of LATE lunch drop offs in prior years. Students can no longer receive lunch drop offs of Fast Food, DoorDash, Uber Eats. If a student does receive a drop off of commercial food for lunch they will be required to eat their lunch in the office (not the cafeteria) during the entire lunch/recess period. If this becomes habitual, the family will be contacted to meet with the Administration. Late or forgotten lunches brought in a lunchbox will still be delivered to student classrooms.

PICTURE DAY INFORMATION

You should have received a picture form in your child's yellow communication folder. DO NOT send this form in with payment to the school. Instead, the form should be filled out and handed directly to the photographer on picture day.
