Dear Winston Campus Middle School Families,
Thank you to all the parents, staff members, and students who helped make this year’s play a success! Whether you worked behind the scenes, supported from the audience, or performed on stage, your contributions made a meaningful impact. Our students had so much fun, learned valuable skills, and truly shined. We are so proud of their hard work and creativity!
We would also like to congratulate all of our students who made the Honor Roll for the 3rd quarter, as well as those who achieved perfect attendance during the quarter. Your dedication, focus, and commitment to learning are truly commendable—well done!
Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome you to our upcoming Open House on Thursday, May 1st, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please note that the Middle School Open House format will differ a bit from what you may be used to at the elementary level. This evening is designed to showcase the wonderful learning happening in our classrooms.
Kindly keep in mind that this event is not intended for individual parent-teacher conferences. If you would like to speak directly with a teacher about your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to reach out to them to set up a separate time. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Mirando hacia adelante, nos complace invitarlos a nuestra próxima Noche de Puertas Abiertas el jueves 1 de mayo, de 6:00 a 7:00 PM. Tengan en cuenta que el formato de Puertas Abiertas en la escuela secundaria será un poco diferente al de la primaria. Esta noche está diseñada para mostrar el maravilloso aprendizaje que ocurre en nuestras aulas.
Les pedimos amablemente que recuerden que este evento no está destinado a conferencias individuales entre padres y maestros. Winston Campus Middle School's Student Council is hosting a talent show! Auditions are April 29 and 30. All acts must sign-up to audition by April 28th at noon using the linked form. Talent show is scheduled for a dress rehearsal after school on 5/14 and an evening performance on 5/15 at WCMS!

The 8th Grade Dance is scheduled for May 30, from 6-8 pm at WCMS. Both admission to the dance and food at the event are free to all WCMS 8th Graders. Students are invited to dress up and come celebrate graduation with their classmates! While the DJ and pizza are already taken care of, we need your help to make the dance a success: volunteer (sign-up here) or donate (sign-up here). Thank you!

Friendly reminder: Please be sure that if you need to drop off your student's lunch that it is at Winston prior to 10:30, this ensures that it gets on the lunch cart and brought to the cafeteria. Please refrain from having Door Dash deliver food to your student or bringing in fast food. Students who receive fast food will eat it in the office during their lunch period.

Register for the 2025-2026 year!
Every student—new and returning—must register each year. We encourage families to register their child(ren) as early as possible. Learn more about the registration process and register on our website.
District 15 will be transitioning from Infinite Campus to PowerSchool in 2025-26. All families will need to create their PowerSchool account in order to register for school for next year. Thank you for your timely action as we launch this new system. We are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible.
Registering early helps us solidify staffing for our schools, allows your child(ren) to be placed on a class list, and allows your child(ren) to ride a bus to and from school. Registration MUST be completed and student fees must be paid by July 15, 2025.
In order to place all students in a classroom and on bus routes, we ask that you please do your part and register on or before July 15.
