Happy Saturday all! What a great full week of school with Parent Appreciation sprinkled in!! We are grateful for your support. Thank you for sharing your Sunbeams with us!
We had a blast this week in Music and Chapel! The music term of the month is crescendo. We practiced singing piano (quiet) and slowly getting louder to fortissimo (loud and with feeling)! We also sang a song about snowflakes. We cannot wait for Special Chapel!!
Our Preschool Committee is now called the Sunbeam Support Team. The role of the committee is now organize fundraisers/teacher appreciation events (gifts) and act as liaisons between the director and our GBP Parents. The church has formed a Preschool Board to oversee the preschool's budget and operations as the preschool is a mission of the church.
*The Sunbeam Support Team organized our first Spirit Night at Solo Pizza in Leesburg on Tuesday, January 28th! Please see below for more details!*

-No school Monday, January 27th. GBP is open Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 29th. LCPS is closed the 28th and 29th.
-February Lunch Bunch and Enrichment links will be posted on Brightwheel Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30pm.
-January Special Chapel: January 29 and 30
Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.
-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm
-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm

Early Registration for the 2025-2026 school year
Early Registration for current GBP families, GBP alumni families and LUMC members is underway. Early Registration links were sent out via Brightwheel.
Registration fees ($75) will be added to February tuition in Brightwheel.

During January Special Chapel, we’ll share the songs we’ve been working on in class, celebrate January birthdays and enjoy a Bible story. On your Special Chapel day, please drop your children off in their classrooms as usual and head up to the Sanctuary. We'll join you at 9:15am.
