Canvas is the (LMS) Learning Management System that Juab School District uses in all schools to capture learning evidence for students and parents. Standards, learning targets, proficiency scores, tasks, quizzes, assignments, assessments, and content levels may be found here. Proficiency scores are measured against learning targets to share progress. In many classrooms, scores are transferred from Canvas to PowerSchool to be translated into a traditional letter grade.
As a parent/guardian, you may become a member of your student(s) Canvas class(es) as an observer. As an observer, you are able to see assignments, due dates, calendar items, comments, and feedback. This is a powerful feature in Canvas, and it will help you keep your student(s) on track.
