Coyote Give Back - Food Drive
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to our annual Breeze Hill Food Drive. Your generosity in donating non-perishable food items has been truly overwhelming. All of the collected items will be donated to Vista Teen Outreach, where they will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
The picture above showcases just a small portion of the incredible amount of food we were able to gather thanks to your support. We are so proud to be part of a community that comes together to help others.
A special thank you goes to our PTA and Mrs. Bell Cerda (Community Liaison), who worked tirelessly to organize and lead this successful drive. Their dedication and hard work made this event possible.
Once again, thank you for your kindness and generosity. We are truly grateful for your continued support in making this event such a success!
Thankful Leaves
We are so grateful for our amazing Breeze Hill Coyote community! This week, our Student Council set up tables during recess for all students to participate in creating thankful leaves. Students had the opportunity to write messages of gratitude, recognizing people and things they are thankful for during this Thanksgiving season.
The beautiful leaves were then displayed in our office space, where everyone can appreciate the heartfelt messages shared by our students.
A big thank you to our Student Council for their hard work and leadership in organizing this special activity. You all did a fantastic job!
We are truly thankful for the kindness, creativity, and community spirit that make Breeze Hill such a special place.
No School ~ November 25-29
We would like to inform you that the school will be closed from November 25th to November 29th for the Thanksgiving holiday break. We hope this time provides you and your family with a chance to relax and enjoy the season. School will resume on Monday, December 2nd.
Thank you for your continued support, and we wish you all a wonderful and safe holiday!
The YMCA at Breeze Hill
The Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCA and Breeze Hill Elementary are excited to collaborate on the YMCA Playground Partners program to support our students during unstructured recess time for K-5th grade students. The program aims to enhance the lunchtime recess experience by providing an outdoor intervention curriculum. The primary focus of YMCA Playground Partners is to build self-confidence, model effective communication and conflict resolution skills, and foster teamwork and sportsmanship. Beginning on Tuesday, December 3, a YMCA coach will be on site every lunch period (Tuesdays-Fridays) to help teach students new and exciting games as well as build the skills necessary to foster a positive playground environment.
Online Book Fair
While our in-person book fair has ended, you can continue to purchase items. You can continue to buy books, games and puzzles to support our school library for the rest of the year!

PILLARS OF ACHIEVEMENT
As we approach the start of the 2024-25 school year, we request your continued collaboration in reinforcing our expectations around our Pillars and positive behaviors on campus. Our goal is to create a safe space where all students can flourish, learn, and develop. By working together, we can ensure a positive and nurturing environment for everyone.
Here is a reminder of our Pillars for positive behavior:
1. Be Welcoming - say hello and greet others on campus; be accepting of others; share materials; and be a good listener.
2. Do No Harm - put your materials away; take care of your materials; throw trash away; keep hands and feet to yourself..
3. Use Choice Words - wait your turn to speak; use quiet/inside voices; respond kindly; and use polite language when speaking to adults.
4. Never Too Late to Learn - follow directions the first time; help others; use your best effort; and be prepared to Learn.
These 4 Pillars , when followed purposefully, lead us to the last pillar which makes us THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE UNIVERSE!
As partners, we work together in empowering our students to make positive choices and start the school year on a high note. We wish all of our students, staff, and families a successful start to the 2024-2025 school year.
