December 2 to 6, 2024
Principal's Message
Dear Falcon students and families,
I hope the start of December finds you well and enjoying the days leading up to and preparing for the holiday season. This past week we have had some incredible work done by our students and staff, with our amazingly talented students performing in their production of The Bad Seed, our basketball teams competing in some of their first Senior Basketball games and tournaments, and our Falcon Swim team doing absolutely amazing at Metro Finals.
This week will see our F.L.I. students preparing for the holiday season by putting up our wonderful tree and decorations. They are also kicking off the season with the start of many activities for our school community leading up to the holiday. We will be hosting a Parent Meeting for all our Junior and Senior Basketball Teams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4th. Just a quick reminder that this Wednesday is also an early out schedule for our monthly staff meeting, and the busses will be picking up students at 2:17 p.m..
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Ken Wlos
Principal

Bev Facey New Football Locker Room Sponsorship
We are excited to share that we are building a new locker room for our Bev Facey Falcons Football team! With the support of the Strathcona Amateur Football Alumni Association (SAFAA), we are on a mission to raise $92,000 for the construction of this project. We would be grateful if you could consider making a donation. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of the Bev Facey Falcons’ Football legacy!
Our current one is outdated and no longer meets the needs of our growing team. A new locker room will provide an inspiring space where our athletes can prepare, bond, and cultivate team spirit. By sponsoring this project, you will not only be associating yourself with a successful and dedicated group of young athletes but also helping us create a new locker room that will significantly enhance their overall experience and environment. Your support will foster team unity, boost morale, and elevate the overall experience for our players and coaches.
