It's December!

December is full of learning and fun!

Ask your student about the gingerbread stories. Can they retell the story for you? What character did he/she like best? What happened to the gingerbread man?

They love to hear the stories again and again, if you have a copy of the book at home. It's a good bedtime story, as well.

⛄ AMI Days ⛄

Your student will receive a folder with a packet of learning activities on Thursday or Friday.

The activities are designed for you and your child to complete during an AMI day. An Alternative Method of Instruction Day is utilized during a snow day. You complete the activities on the choice board and return it to school the next day. This completed page will count as your child's attendance for that AMI day.

FOOD DRIVE

We will continue to collect food through December 16th. This project helps families in our community.

Send unexpired, non-perishable food with your student.

Classroom Prizes:
1st place (most items donated): Snow Cone Party

2nd place: Popcorn Party

WINTER COATS

We have coats in our lost and found! If you're missing a coat, please reach out to your teacher.
LABEL your student's coat/gloves/mittens with your student's name. This prevents any lost items.

Please make sure your child's extra clothes are appropriate for the weather.

Monday, December 16: Candy Cane Day- Wear red and white

Tuesday, December 17: Christmas Stockings- Wear Christmas Socks

Wednesday, December 18: Grinch Day- Wear green

Thursday, December 19: Santa Claus is Coming to Town- Wear a Santa hat

Friday, December 20: PJ Day- Wear pajamas (appropriate for school)
