Family Calendar
A Note From Your Proud Principal
Dear Amazing Mina Families/Guardians,
As we welcome October, I want to take a moment to remind our students of the importance of following our school expectations and demonstrating respect in all their interactions. A positive school environment is essential for everyone’s success, and your support at home reinforces these values.
Encouraging your child to be mindful of their behavior and to treat peers and staff with kindness will help foster a community where everyone feels valued and safe. Together, we can ensure that our school remains a place of respect and learning.
October is filled with lots of activities, but most importantly, PARENT CONFERENCES. Please make sure you set up a time to meet with your child's teacher. The number factor that determines student success is parent involvement and communication. It is truly the work of all us to make sure your child/children are prepared to be successful humans!
As always, if you have reached out to the teacher and still have concerns you would like to talk about, please don't hesitate to email or call.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely-
Emily Allen
Your Proud Principal

Senate Bill 9 (SB9) requires public schools to provide instruction to elementary students relating to the prevention of child abuse and family violence. In Bastrop ISD, this instruction will be taught in grades K, 1, and 2 using the Second Step Child Protection Unit. SB 9 requires public schools to obtain parent/guardian consent for students to receive this instruction.
