Your opportunity to nominate a Silverbrook staff member!
Do you know of a Silverbrook staff member who has made a positive impact on your child? Parents and students are encouraged to nominate a staff member of the week. Please use this form to submit a nomination. Every week the nominations are reviewed and announced on Monday mornings, along with the Students of the Week.
2025 Rolfs and Support Awards
The Rolfs Educational Foundation Award and the Support Employee of the Year Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the district by our dedicated staff members. Nominations can be submitted by any employee, community member, parent, or 5th-12th grade student. The Rolfs Foundation also advertises this opportunity to nominate an employee in the local newspaper.
To nominate a colleague for either award please visit the Rolfs and Support Award intranet page. Please submit your nominations by March 21, 2025. Winners will be recognized in May 2025.
New on Honor Roll Certificates
Your child's Honor Roll certificate may have looked a bit different this year. In addition to a redesign, we have also added a component for academic growth, which is so important. If your child received a gold seal on his or her certificate, it means that they reached or exceeded the growth STAR expects on the midyear test for reading and/or math, or they reached and/or exceeded the goal they set with their literacy and/or math teacher. We are proud to be able to celebrate your child's academic achievement and growth! (As you can see, Mrs. Geldnich met her goal for first semester as well!)
