Carline Dismissal
Thank you for your patience with our dismissal on Tuesday, May 14th. The rain was coming down so hard and we wanted to keep our kiddos as dry and safe as possible. It was a team effort to get our kids out to their vehicles in the crazy weather! Again, thank you for being patient with us.
Countdown to the End of the Year
This past week we celebrated with activities based on the letters G-I. Of course we had to end the week with patriotic "ice pops".
Next week we have:
Monday - J - Jumping Jack Day
Tuesday - K - Kites
Wednesday - L - Letter Day - write a letter to someone
Thursday - M - Memory Day - draw and write about your favorite Primary Memory
Friday - N - Necktie or Necklace Day
24 - 25 School Year Calendar
The 24 - 25 school year is right around the corner. This past week, the EPS Board of Education approved the calendar for the coming school year. I have attached a copy of it to this newsletter and it is also available on our district website.
One noticeable change is that our district will implement a monthly late start each month. This time is designed for professional development and collaboaration amongst our instructional staff. This protected time allows teachers and staff to stay updated on the latest educational practices, teaching techniques, and curriculum changes. By incorporating late starts, schools can provide dedicated time for professional development without disrupting the regular school day.
