Dear Falcon Families,
Welcome back from the weekend! We have an exciting week ahead as we welcome our IB visitors to support us in our IB Accreditation process.
This week also marks Tแบฟt (Tแบฟt Nguyรชn ฤรกn), the Vietnamese Lunar New Year! We are celebrating the Year of the Wood Snake, which symbolizes wisdom, adaptability, and growth. Tแบฟt is a time for renewal, family gatherings, and welcoming prosperity for the year ahead. Chรบc Mแปซng Nฤm Mแปi! (Happy New Year!)
As we approach the end of the first grading period, a reminder that Office Hours will be held this Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30 PMโa great opportunity for students to get extra support before grades are finalized.
Looking ahead, please note that next week we will have a late start due to a morning staff meeting.

Regular Week Schedule
Students are on the regular week schedule. The schedules below begin the week of Monday, August 12.
- On Thursdays all students start at 8:30am, be ready for more morning traffic.
- On Thursdays all students get out at 2:23pm, be ready for more after school traffic.
- Student Union and all offices close at 2:30pm every Thursday (will open next day at 8:00am)
- Singleton Parking lot gates will be closed around 9:00am
- Singleton Pedestrian gate will be closed at the start of 2nd period (9:40am most days)

Spring Sports Meeting: Attention all spring athletes! The spring sport parent and student meeting is Monday 1/27 from 6-7 pm in the Leaning Center. Come learn about important rules and regulations that govern sports!

Tickets will be $1 more for each ticket purchase. You can also scan the QR Code.

Community College Visits: Seniors, local community colleges will be coming to Andrew Hill this Spring! They will be sharing information about their school and having an application workshop afterwards. If you are interested in any of them, sign up below to attend, or scan the purple community college flyer available in your Econ or Gov class! If you are unsure, consider signing up anyways to reserve your spot!
Community College Information Session: Seniors, are you thinking about community college and would like to learn more? During lunch today, Monday, January 27, at the Learning Center, there will be an informational presentation! You can learn more about your options and ask questions. If you canโt make it, visit room 401 (the College & Career Center) when you can!

Class of 2025, please take a moment to schedule your senior portrait in the San Jose Studio. The scheduling site is now ready for you to self-schedule your senior portraits. Please use the link provided to reserve a day and time for your appointment.

๐๏ธ Testing Schedule:
๐ 11th & 12th Grade: Monday, February 10 @ 8:30 AM
๐ 9th & 10th Grade: Tuesday, February 11 @ 8:30 AM
A printout with student names and testing locations will be posted in the Learning Center, main quad, and C-quad windows. Students who are testing will also receive passes with their testing date and location.
๐๏ธ Incentives:
Students will receive a raffle ticket for attending testing and one additional ticket for each completed test (up to 5 total tickets). These tickets can be entered for a chance to win $20 gift cards and other great prizes!
