Principal's Message
Good evening Mira Loma Families,
Our third full week of school was highlighted by a number of key events.
On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of meeting with our ML Connect Student Leaders for a Safety Discussion Forum during lunch. I am thankful for their collaboration, their feedback, their suggestions, and their genuine care for all members of the Mira Loma community. It was a great opportunity to hear their voices and ideas and I look forward to continuing our discussions. Thank you ML Connect team!
On Thursday evening, our Mira Loma High School Counseling Team hosted our Fall of 2024 Senior Night in the cafeteria. The event was well attended and our Counselors did an excellent job of providing students and families with key information. If you missed the Fall of 2024 Senior Night, please visit the Counseling page on the Mira Loma webpage under the "Our School" tab. Thank you to our amazing Counseling Team!
On Thursday and Friday of this week our Student Activities Leadership hosted our annual Club Rush in the Quad at lunch time. With over 70 clubs spread across two days, I was amazed at the level of energy and dedication by our club leaders and students. Club Rush was a huge success and there was a very palpable excitement and positive energy on campus both days. Thank you to our Activities Director, Mr. Posner, and his students for organizing an excellent Club Rush!
In addition to events, our Athletic Teams are in full swing and doing an excellent job competing and representing our school. Congratulations to our football team for winning an exciting game against San Juan High School last Friday night. Thank you to our coaches of all sports for your time and dedication, and thank you athletes and parents for your participation!
