Introducing CADY’s Ambassador Program - We’re looking for amazing students to share their stories.
What is it?
This spring, CADY is launching its first Ambassador Program. This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic and imaginative students to gain experience with digital content creation by sharing their stories about their senior portrait sessions with CADY.
CADY Ambassadors will utilize their storytelling skills to craft and post 4 short videos over several weeks describing their experience with their CADY senior portraits.
We will provide a virtual orientation where they will meet fellow Ambassadors and our Community Manager. Ambassadors will also receive a guidebook with details, tips and tricks, and anything else needed to help them along the way.
Our team will thoroughly vet all ambassador content. If one of your students is selected, CADY wants this to be a celebration of your students and your school.
Eligibility Requirements:
CADY will pick 10-15 rising seniors.
The applicants must be at least 16 years old. If they are under 18, they must have a parent or guardian’s permission.
Applicants are required to have a TikTok page. They will be asked to share their page with our community manager during the application.
To learn more about the CADY Ambassador Program visit https://ambassadors.cady.com/ and check out the attached CADY Ambassador Program Brochure.
When:
Applications from students are due April 28, 2024
Applicants’ social media pages will be reviewed for relevance, potential effectiveness, and content. We welcome all applications but reserve the right to refuse or revoke a membership at any time at our sole discretion.

Summer Opportunities
Take a look at these summer dual enrollment opportunities; H2O to Go! Connections and Climate Resilience Education and Action for Dedicated Youth (Climate READY). We've prepared a slideshow and a recorded video for students that are interested in more information beyond our program fliers. I've attached both fliers, a pdf of our slideshow, and a link to the video. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 15. However, we've applied for an extension of at least one more week and we'll be in touch with the school district if the request is successful.
In addition, please let us know if you have the time and space for one of us to visit your school, classroom, or club! We'd be more than happy to visit and meet your students and tell them about our programs in person.
Please direct any questions to me (wellmanr@fau.edu; 561 297 6605) or to Greg Goebel (ggoebel@fau.edu; 561 297 6606). One of us will be available during the week of March 11-15 to make a personal visit, just let us know when is best for you! Thank you for your time!

Food Finder
Hunger is a concern for many of our families in Palm Beach County. The United Way of Palm Beach County has developed a Food Finder map to assist families with finding food pantries and distribution locations. The Palm Beach County Food Finder Map now includes "Holiday Meal" events for food and toy giveaways in December. This list contains information provided by 211 and the Hunger Relief network. The website is updated regularly with new information.
The FindHelp.org website has various resources, including food, housing, and health-related locations.
