Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration has already begun. Lincoln’s website is conveniently linked to all of the incoming kindergarten registration forms. This site will give you access to all the forms necessary for registering your child. This has been very helpful to expedite the registration process and has been well received by parents! There is also a helpful “All Day Kindergarten FAQ” on this site as well. Please pass this information on to any incoming kindergarten families that are in your neighborhood.

Lincoln Bulletin
Tonight will be our first Lincoln Family Math Night-
Thank you to our math specialist Michele Smith for organizing such a wonderful event. We will begin at 6:30 with families coming together in the gym. Mathematics tasks will guide you thru the evening. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight.
End of 2nd Trimester and Data Days-
Today marks the final day of the 2nd Trimester. Throughout this week, our staff met to look at student data related to reading, writing, and math. There are so many things to celebrate, not only for individual students but for our student population as a whole. These conversations are always such a positive experience and help us reflect on the collaborative work teachers do so that every student can succeed. We also realize that parents do so much from home to reinforce the learning that occurs here at Lincoln. Thank you for all that you do!
Tomorrow is a student non-attendance day. Our teachers will be spending the day reflecting on the past trimester and planning for the next few months of instruction.
Student Council members will be selling green St. Baldrick’s bracelets during lunch periods on Thursday, March 7th and Friday, March 8th. Each bracelet will cost $1.00. All of the proceeds from the sale will go towards the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to help conquer childhood cancers.
Academically Talented Programs
The St. Charles CUSD 303 Academically Talented (AT) Program seeks to identify the district’s high-ability learners in literacy and math. As a part of the AT identification process, the district uses each student's score information from the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) and Performance Series (PS) to identify the top 20% of students district-wide in 3rd and 5th grade in the content areas of literacy and math. Students identified through this process then qualify for the opportunity to participate in the district’s placement testing. Student scores from the placement test will be combined with their CogAT and Performance Series scores to determine the top 5% of students across the district in literacy and math. This Friday, letters will be mailed home to notify families of qualified students as well as to provide further information regarding placement testing.
Additionally, 5th grade students who did not qualify for the AT Math placement testing, but did qualify for the Middle School Accelerated Math Pathway, will be notified at this time as well.
Lastly, if you have any questions regarding your child’s participation in this process, please contact your child’s principal.
