Hands on Learning in Reception during Literacy Week
The children are now currently innovating the original story by introducing a new storyline where the Bear is looking for a family, the title being, ‘I am looking for a family, the one who can love me.’ They have made a new story map and following the innovation process, they will go on to invent their own individual stories.

Year 3 Fractured Fairy Tale Writing
Have you ever heard the True story of the 3 little pigs as told by The Big Bad Wolf? For the last 2 weeks, Year 3 students have been doing activities around the topic of point of view. The students listened to the traditional fairy tale of The Three Little Pigs as told by the pigs. Then they compared, assessed and made their judgment as to whose side they agreed with. Finally they wrote a fractured fairy tale with a twist from the original traditional tale of their choice.

As part of the Literacy week activities, Year 3 also decided to make book covers and book reviews of their favorite books, and here is our Jabberwocky film trailer that we made as part of our assembly presentation on the poem entitled the same...

Reminder: Class Photos taken by Colour Chrome
Class Photographs / Sibling Photographs/ Whole school Photographs which were taken by Colour Chrome, Mr. Mehul Kanani and his team will be at KISU from 28th March to the 6th April from 7.30am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.00pm to take your orders.
You will be able to view the sample photographs and approve print by completing an order form and making a full payment at the same time directly to them. School will not be involved in any of the photograph payments. Please reach out to them next to the Sports Hall gate (behind where KISU buses are parked) to place your orders.
If you miss them at school, you can go directly to their studio at Acacia Mall and place an order for your child/ren's photographs.
