LABEL PERSONAL ITEMS
Please take the time to label your students uniforms, sweatshirts, coats, lunch boxes, etc. This will assist us in getting items back to their owners and will help keep the lost and found bin to a minimum.
CAFETERIA VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
We need help in our cafeteria on a daily basis. Great way to earn Parent Partnership hours. Kitchen Help will assist the cafeteria with serving food. Cafe Monitor will assist students with opening items and cleaning tables.
You must be VIRTUS compliant. Parent hours need to be logged in to Sycamore for approval!
LABOR DAY GRAND RAFFLE
TICKETS NOW ON SALE
St. Cecilia's Labor Day Grand Raffle Ticket Sales have begun! The Grand Prize for this year will be either a brand new 2024 Arctic White Corvette Stingray 1LT; MSRP $69,995; removable roof panel, 8-way power GT bucket seats, LED headlamps, remote vehicle start, bose premium 10 speaker audio system, HD rear vision camera, forward collision alert & theft deterrent system, OR a $50,000 cash option!
Tickets are $25.00 each. A maximum of 8,000 tickets will be sold and the drawing will be held on Monday, September 2nd.
To buy tickets, you can either call our office at 859-363-4311, go to our Festival website, or mail us back the Grand Raffle postcards with a check. Postcards have been sent out.

At this time, you can only purchase one ticket at a time rather than multiple tickets in one purchase. Mark your calendars for the 2025 St. Cecilia PTO Ladies' Stagette which is set for March 15, 2025, at Receptions.
SPORTS UPDATES
BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
Registration is now open to all students in grades 1-8 for St. Cecilia basketball! The season length will vary based on grade level and team placement. Practices begin in October and games typically start in November. Teams will have one scheduled practice a week to go along with one game a week. Most leagues will schedule between 8-10 games and play a season ending tournament.
We are also looking for parent volunteers to coach or assist as well. Please indicate your willingness to do so when registering your child. As a reminder all parent volunteers must be VIRTUS compliant. This is the perfect way to satisfy your parental service hours requirement!

Also as an invitation to our new families as well as a reminder to our existing families there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with our St. Cecilia Sports Committee! We encourage you to come to a meeting and help if you can!
Teams are based on your child's current grade level for the 2024-20245 school year. If for some reason during the registration process they aren't able to register for the correct grade level, please let us know and we'll get it corrected.

ARCHERY REGISTRATION
Registration is now open to all students in grades 4-8 for St. Cecilia archery! Practices are Wednesday's from 6:00-7:00 starting in October and go through March. Tournaments are 1hr long and are on either Friday night or Saturday during the day.

SPORTS COMMITTEE YEARLY EVENTS
- Archery - Signups start in September with tournament season from October-March.
- Archery Camp - Signups start in May. Camp runs 5-8 evenings during the summer.
- Basketball - Signups start in August. Game play runs November-March.
- Basketball Preseason Game Play - St. Cecilia will host an event for grades 3-5, boy and girl teams in our diocese area. It is not a tournament, but a chance for preseason action.
- Basketball Camp - Signups start in June. Camp runs 5-6 evenings during the summer.
- Basketball 5th Grade Boys League - St. Cecilia host the 5th grade boys league for the surround school area. The league runs from November to March on Saturdays. Profit made from this league is split between the sports committee and the school.
- Cross Country - Signups start in August with the meet season from the end of August-October.
- Golf Outing - St. Cecilia host a golf outing as a fundraiser for our student athletes. June 7th, 2025 is the next outing.
- Soccer - Signups start in July for U4/U6 and U8/14 soccer. U8/14 starts game play on August 17th and U4/6 starts game play on August 18th.
- Sports Banquet for 7th and 8th Grade Athletes - This event is held each May to recognize our student athletes moving into 8th grade and those moving on to their high school years.
- Stag - St. Cecilia host a stag event for the men in our community. The event is a fundraiser for our student athletes. The next event is January 18th, 2025 6-11pm. Tickets will go on sale in October. In addition, the $5 for $500 raffle for this event runs November 1-December 13th, 2024.
- Volleyball - Signups start in June with game play August-October
- Volleyball 4th Grade Girls League - St. Cecilia host the 4th grade league for the surround school area. The league runs from August to October on Thursday evenings. Profit made from this league is split between the sports committee and the school.

2025 Men's Stag - Benefiting the St. Cecilia Sports Program
Last years event raised enough money to purchase out door basketball hoops for our school. Come out for another epic night for live music, food, drinks, games, and raffles.

If you need to reserve a room on campus, please go to our Parish Website and click "Reserve Campus Space". Once you have finished filling out the form, it will be sent to the church office and you will receive a confirmation email once the reservation has been made.
