RJ Security Upgrades - New Front Window Addition
You may notice a new glass panel in the front foyer for checking in and checking out!!
This is part of our ongoing security upgrades at RJ.
As it's new for our front office staff as well as our families, please be patient as we adjust to the new window and procedures that it may require.
The new window does provide some sound barrier and some glare, so please don't be afraid to let us know how we can help you and when in doubt, ring the bell.
Thank you BCISD Education Foundation!
Thank you BCISD Education Foundation:
Congratulations to RJ's Library, and Ms. Torres our librarian, Ms. Brewer our Behavior Support Teacher, and Ms. Evans 4th grade teacher for being prize recipients from our BCISD Education Foundation this week:
On Monday, February 3, our wonderful Burnet CISD Education Foundation visited campuses to surprise and award 3 of RJ's lucky teachers/classrooms with over $4,500 to help with some amazing and innovative ideas for our classrooms, programs, and library. We are so thankful for the support that the Education Foundation has been able to provide to our schools, teachers and our most important stakeholders - the students! RJ & BCISD Parent & Family Information & Resources:
Annual Diva Dawgs & Bulldog Bros Dodge Ball & Dance Party
As the song says, "Let's Get Ready To Rumble....."
The Bulldog BROS and Dynamic DIVA Dawgs are pleased to invite you to our Annual
Family Dance and Dodgeball party on Sunday, Feb. 16th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes.
This is a FREE family fun event, and it is for everyone.... from toddlers to great-grandparents.
The BROS and DIVA's are the hosts and hostesses for this event, and we welcome you all to come and be ready to move and have fun. We love to send home the kids with big smiles on their sweaty little faces.
Who: This is for anyone who wants to come and have fun.
What: We are always asked, "How does this dance and dodgeball thing work?
You really have to come and see it for yourself. There is truly something for
everyone. We added the dodgeball for the boys, but those little "angels" dressed
in their sweet little dresses get pretty competitive also. We will have food, drinks,
dancing, and every possible "face off" on dodgeball that you can think of!
When: Sunday, Feb. 16th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. There is NO school the next day, so you can
come and share the evening with your family.
Where: Come join us at the Burnet YMCA, on Hwy. 281, right across from Chicken Express.
Why: For anyone who has to ask why, here's why you should come. Your children are
growing up very fast. And, you never know when the "last" time, will be "the last time"
for that special dance, that special picture, that special memory, and that special time
together. We want to provide a special evening for you to simply enjoy being together
and sharing some special time.... then "leaving it all out there" on the dodgeball floor.
