Thoughts from Dr. Voelkl, Mrs. Winkler and your SCB Faculty and Staff,

Well it was not a Snow Day today :-) As a reminder should we have a case of inclement weather we will share this information with you via a text blast, Facebook and local news outlets. I purchased new snow boots and sleds for my personal children so it may be my fault if a good snow day does not come to fruition!

While this is not sledding weather it is great curl up by the fire and read a good book weather. As our family talked and shared about our goals and resolutions for the new year, I asked my children to help me decide what to resolve to do this year. Without prompting they all asked me to put my phone down. By putting my phone down, I discovered that I actually do have time to pick up a book or a journal. I have already started working my way through some great ones including rediscovering my daily book of devotionals and the Bible.

While I am fairly certain the majority of us are praying for a "better" 2021, I also believe that daily doses of faith will help our hearts and minds appreciate all of the good that still surrounds us. Thank you as always for sharing your children with us, and for the opportunity to guide them on their faith journey.

Auction Baskets

We are needing volunteers to put together the class baskets for the 2021 SCB Auction. Each class will have $300 for the baskets, which will come from fees collected as part of tuition. The volunteers will purchase items and submit to Jeannie for reimbursement. Once we have all of the slots filled, we will connect with everyone and figure out the themes for each basket. Water Bottles and Paper Towels

We try to keep a supply of water bottles with the nurse for students that may need it. Her station is starting to run dry from all the students that forget to bring their own water bottles. If you are able, we would love to restock her supply.

We are also very low on Paper towels. If you are able to assist with this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Where do I find out how much money I owe for BASK and/or cafe?

Go to the home page of FACTS. Then click on "Family" on the left hand side of the the screen. Then Cafe and BASK will appear on the center of that page. You can click on the blue "details" word and that will open up the account. REMEMBER a positive balance indicates that you owe money and a negative balance indicates that you have money in your account.
