Enjoying Second Grade!

Dear Families,

Weel, we survived the first week! We only have one full week before Thanksgiving break... we can do it! Thank you for all your patience with this transition. Your understanding and flexibility are so appreciated. " we got this", is our motto and I need t to remember any time we are dealing with technology, and children and humans for that matter, it is not going to be perfect. I keep reminding myself of this daily!

I feel like I have non-stop flooded you with information so I am going to just bullet point information and answer questions I've heard from parents. So here we go...

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY INFO YOU MAY NEED TO FIND, WEBSITES, ZOOMS LINKS ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE DAY SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK IS ALL HERE...ONE-STOP SHOPPING! (just keep scrolling down if you don't see it right away)!

The Seesaw tile found in our child's mycherrycreekschools.org login page contains kid-friendly versions of our zoom link, our daily schedule, and daily assignments. I am sending parents one schedule on Sunday IN THIS NEWSLETTER,

Please do not have your child post every assignment. I can't possibly grade each assignment with quality when I have 40-80 posts to review in Seesaw daily. I will tell them what needs to be turned in on my assignments links in Seesaw. It is only the assignments in purple! The assignments don't post until 11:00 AM on the scheduled day!

Websites and passwords were sent home a while ago! Scroll down below to see a picture of what I sent home(green and white plastic sleeve labeled My school websites and passwords 20-21). Also, any website links are posted ( including the Splash learn class code).

The Bitmojo bookshelf of my classroom posted in Seesaw has live links in the books shelf to some websites too, you just need to click the picture and open the tab below the picture that says open in Google slides.

If you need a password or web class code, don't be worry and don't be shy, I'll dig it up for you. Your child is important to me, and I want them to learning

Every other week your child will either have one on one time with me in the afternoon or a reading group time with me. That schedule will be sent in this newsletter. The first time, I will send it via email too! I have office hours posted on these schedules too. Please make an appointment, as I will not always have the zoom meeting open.
