TES Updates

In recognition of our wonderful staff at Tewskbury Elementary, I would like to continue to encourage our parents to please submit nominations for an exceptional teacher and/or educational services professional for the Governor's Educator of the Year award to show your appreciation. The deadline is Monday, November 15, 2021.

In support of Operation Shoebox NJ, some students from Mrs. DelGrande's class have found a way to give to others and led an effort to collect unwanted/uneaten Halloween candy to send in care packages to troops overseas. The class then helped load over 14 boxes full of close to 400 pounds of candy, and the boxes were delivered to Operation Shoebox NJ. We are so proud of our 3rd graders!

As a reminder, the following important dates are quickly approaching:

• Governor's Educator of the Year Nominations - due Monday, November 15th
  
• Lifetouch Picture Retakes - Friday, November 19th
• NEW DATE: Garden Cleanup - Sunday, November 21st, 1:00-3:00 PM
• Early dismissal - Wednesday, November 24th

A selection committee will select one teacher and one educational services professional from Tewksbury Elementary School and one from Old Turnpike School.

The Tewksbury Assistance Fund Needs Your Help

Contributions from the school community allow local families in financial distress to stay safe and warm over the holiday season and into the winter. The TFAF is a local charitable organization which provides discreet, temporary financial assistance to Tewksbury residents.
