Message from the Principal

Good evening Cavaliers,

I would like to wish all of our CVM mom's an amazing Mother's Day. I hope you had a great weekend full of joy and laughter with your loved ones. I also want to thank Ms. Hollins Ms. Sanchez and Ms. Price for putting together some video messages last week in recognition of our amazing teachers.

This week we begin our fourth week of Distance Learning. Our first progress report period during Distance Learning will conclude this Friday. Our District Information Technology department will be emailing student progress report cards through Infinite Campus this Friday, May 15th. Please make sure you check your email. Parents/guardians can also log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Friday to access student grades.

If your eight grade student has not done so already, please make sure they take the 8th Grade Promotion Student Survey. We are looking at possible options to recognize our promoting students. I have included a link to the survey below.

We will also begin to develop a plan for non-essential item pick up. These items include PE clothes and locks as well as dance attire that might have been left behind by students. We will notify you when we are ready for distribution.

Finally, we will continue with our SUHSD Free Meal Service for students. Please see the information in the flyer below.

Thank you for your continued partnership during these difficult times. I appreciate you entrusting us with your student's education and I know that we will continue to be #cvmstrong!

Distance Learning Progress Report Cards

The first grading period during Distance Learning will conclude this week. Parents/guardians will receive progress report cards via email through Infinite Campus this Friday May 15th. If you don't receive a report card, please email me at julio.alcala@sweetwaterschools.org
