Winter Enrichment 2024-2025

Dedham Enrichment programs have been developed to provide students in each of our Elementary schools the opportunity to extend their school day, broaden their imaginations, explore the world around them in more detail or develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.

REGISTRATION OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 20, 2024

Registration for all afterschool enrichment programs is conducted on a First Come, First Served basis until class limits are reached. Please note, classes with low enrollment may be cancelled and another choice or refund will be offered.

• Please print and complete the Winter Registration Form provided (at bottom of this email).
• Payment is due at the time of registration.
• Please attach your check to this form and return to your school's Main Office.
• If you have multiple students registering for programs, please complete a registration form for each student.

Timing: 3:00 - 4:00pm

Join Games Galore to work on developing strategic thinking, problem-solving, and social skills. Students will get to choose from a variety of games such as board games, card games, and logic puzzles. We will encourage friendly competition and learning the importance of rules, strategy, and critical thinking! Come play games and have fun with friends!

Grades: 1-5

Timing: 3:00 - 4:00pm

Join us for crafting craziness! Every week we will get to explore different crafting materials while listening to music and socializing with peers. From perler beads to air dry clay, come ready to craft and have some fun!

Grades: 1-5

Timing: 3:00 - 4:00pm

Students will put together a custom Riverdale Ravens puzzle. When the puzzle is complete the students will glue the puzzle and hang it in the school.

Grades: 2-5

Do you like to challenge your brain while playing with your friends? In this exciting, hands-on class, students dive into the world of board games, where every roll of the dice and flip of the card brings adventure, teamwork, and creative problem-solving! Each week, we will play awesome games, tackle fun challenges, and have a fun time with friends. So bring a yummy (peanut free) snack and your brain to this game-tastic class.

Grades: 1-5

Instructor: Melanie Venuti

Timing: 3:00 - 4:00pm

Come have fun and explore materials in this sensory science class. We will do fun science experiments and sensory activities (slime, Oobleck, water beads, chemical reaction) together!
