Free Breakfast at School - All Students are Eligible
ALL students are eligible to receive a free breakfast at school. We are able to provide this benefit to all students by parents taking time to complete the free and reduced lunch application. If you have not already received a letter from the district indicating your free/reduced/paid lunch status, please take a moment to complete the lunch application. ALL students, regardless of status are eligible to receive a free breakfast each day for the 2024-2025 school year.
Free Lunch - Students Who Qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch Eat Free
If you qualify for free or reduced priced meals, lunch will be free for the 2024-2025 school year. Please take a moment to complete the lunch application to determine your eligibility.
If you do not qualify for free/reduced meals, you can deposit funds onto your child's account at My School Bucks.

Partners for Life
Schools are most successful in positioning students to achieve when families are involved. Joining Partners for Life at your child’s campus is a fantastic way to support the work of our staff. Click here to sign up to stay informed about opportunities to engage on your child’s campus. If you already have an account, be sure to “Become a Fan” of the campus your child is attending this year.
STAAR RESULTS
If your student participated in the Spring 2024 STAAR EOC test administration, you can
access the final test results through the Life School Parent Portal using this help document as guidance: Accessing STAAR/EOC Scores. Results for STAAR 3-8 are now available to view.
Partnering with parents is an essential piece of Life School’s mission. We invite and encourage parents to partner with teachers, staff, and administrators to support their child's social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Parent and family nights are provided throughout the year to ensure parents and guardians have the opportunity to experience learning alongside their children.
LifeLeader Character Training
We’re committed to supporting all students' social-emotional and behavioral (SEB) learning and LifeLeader development. Character building through LifeLeader attributes is instilled in our students at all grade levels and modeled daily by our teachers and staff.
LifeLeader “I WILL” Statements
Students will learn a new LifeLeader “I WILL” statement each week. These statements are designed to reinforce the LifeLeader character attributes that are integrated into everything we do.
“I WILL” statements are found in your students' campus newsletters. We encourage you to talk about them at home to help reinforce these statements with students.
Questions to ask:
What does this statement mean to you?
How can you practice this at home? At school?
Can you memorize the statement?
Life Habits Conversation Starters
Each week, elementary students will learn a Life Habits lesson. Conversation-starter questions will be posted in campus newsletters and elementary pick-up lines.
By focusing on intentional conversations with your child on subjects such as conflict resolution, impulse control, and more, you are supporting your child’s social, emotional and behavioral growth at school and at home!
All Systems Go!
Our 2024-2025 Convocation theme was “All Systems Go”. This theme reflects our commitment to utilizing all resources to fulfill Life School's mission of developing leaders with life skills through strong academics, character training, and partnerships with parents and the community.
At Convocation, students stole the show, as they shared inspiring stories about their personal experiences at Life School and emphasized how the support they received encouraged them. The students also reflected on how the COVID-19 pandemic was a time of disruption, highlighting how the support from Life School played a crucial role in their success. They stressed the importance of partnerships between parents, teachers, and the community in fostering student success.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Gabriella Weiss, Natalynn Spann, Helina Moss, and Skylar Jones for sharing their inspiring stories with our staff. Click here to watch and hear Skylar rock the house!
