Tiger Update
Information/Updates about Pickerington High School Central
Message from Mr. Lanier
Our theme for February is to be a light for others. I am challenging ALL of our members of the Tiger learning community to be a light for our CORE values of Trust, Integrity, and Empathy. We're challenging everyone to be a light for kindness as well. I found this video and it fits perfectly into our message to our community members. Remember that kindness is an act, not a feeling. I am kind not because someone else is kind but because I AM KIND and I can be kind even if I don't feel like it. :-) When we commit to being a light for others; to being a light for our CORE values; and to being a light for kindness; it lifts everyone up in the community. In the end, it is the best thing for our own mental well being. As the video says, 'karma makes no mistakes'!!
We have a wonderful learning community!! Let us wrap ourselves in kindness and fight to protect what we have!! I ask our students all the time what type of learning community do they want? Establish it and protect it at all costs!!
Tiger Up,
Mr. Lanier
