"Every Child, Every Day"
Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.- Confucius
Weekly Welcome
Thank you so much for taking the time to attend our parent-teacher conferences. Your involvement and partnership are invaluable in supporting your child's growth and success. Together, we can continue to nurture their learning and development, and we truly appreciate your dedication to their education. We look forward to working closely with you throughout the year!
As we enter a season where after school schedules will be changing, it's important to help students transition smoothly into new routines. Establishing clear expectations, setting consistent schedules, and gradually introducing changes can reduce anxiety and help students adjust. Engaging them in conversations about the new routines and encouraging their input fosters a sense of ownership and comfort. By providing structure and flexibility, educators can support students in embracing the changes with confidence and ease.
Lastly, relax and enjoy some Tiger playoff baseball and Lion's football this weekend!!! Let's GOOOOOOOOO!
As always, feel free to call or email if you have any questions. Have a wonderful week, stay safe, and cherish each moment with your children!

Big News about Cooper
As we look to strengthen the connection between Cooper and Franklin High School, we are excited to announce that we're selecting a new mascot! We want a mascot that represents the spirit of both schools and fosters unity. We’d love to hear your creative ideas and suggestions. Please share your thoughts to help us choose a mascot that embodies our shared values and pride in the Family Survey.
Thank you for being a part of this important decision!
Bus Routes
Cooper, for the week of October 7, Cooper bussing will be impacted as bus routes N,O and P (both am & pm) will be suspended for the week (they will resume on 10/21).
The following link will take you to the Arrival/Dismissal procedures for Cooper (dismissal is changed slightly, please click link above). Please remember that students can begin exiting the vehicles at 8:10 am (there will not be supervision prior to this time); dismissal time is 3:30 pm. The students should always exit/enter the vehicle from the passenger side of the car (safest) and we ask that you pull all the way forward in the loop.
This will indeed add some time during our process; however, it will remain our goal to keep arrive/dismissal 8 minutes or less.
We truly appreciate your understanding and patience during this time...our Cooper Community is resilient and will always overcome any challeges that we are faced with!
NOTE: PLEASE KNOW THAT WE DO NOT OFFER BUS PASSES DUE TO LIMITED SPACE ON BUSSES.

Late for School?
We understand that things happen in the morning that may cause your child to be late for school. Please remember that the adult that is dropping off in the morning should come into the lobby to sign the student in. The purpose of this is to limit the loss of learning time by getting the student into the classroom as soon as possible (every minute counts).
