As we close out this most memorable and unique school year, I would like to say thank you to everyone for your patience, cooperation, understanding and help that was necessary to support our students. These last weeks could not have been possible without the efforts and endless energy of parents, students, faculty, staff and our community as a whole.
Many pictures and videos were shared on social media illustrating how families were celebrating our senior class. I could not be more proud of our seniors and how our school community embraced their special day. We still are planning an in-person graduation in July pending the restrictions of Covid-19 so stay tuned. Tomorrow, we will distribute diplomas to our 2020 graduates between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at the bus loop. Please know we will afford students a second opportunity to pick up diplomas if you have a conflict with tomorrow’s distribution.

- 12:00-1:00 (K-Q)
- 1:00-2:00 (R-Z)
Continue to practice safety measures with social distancing, hand washing and wearing masks. It is our hope that these practices will help limit the spread of the Covid virus and will allow us to start the school year in person. District and school leaders have developed a task force to begin planning for the 2020-2021 school year. Communication will be shared as information is provided.
I want to remind everyone that all CCSD facilities are still closed until further notice to include gyms, fields and tracks. Our district will release information when restrictions are lifted. This is to ensure everyone's safety so thank you in advance for your understanding.
A final word to our Gladiators: Thank you for your hard work throughout the school year. We truly missed your chatter in the hallways, energy in the cafeteria and your spirit throughout our school community. Much love, respect, and admiration for each of you to say the least. “Graduation is not the end but ultimately the beginning!” This is not a goodbye but a moment to say “see you all later.” Please stay in touch and we wish everyone the highest level of success with your new endeavors.
