SEMESTER EXEMPTION INFORMATION
Exemption forms will be handed out during B3 on Wednesday, December 11th. The forms must be turned in to their B3 class period with a parent or guardian signature in order to exempt any classes. Cards are due on Tuesday, December 17th. No cards will be accepted before or after Tuesday, December 17th. If students have to take a test at any time during a final exam day, they may leave after their exam.
- Students are not exempt from review days. All students must attend and stay in class on review days - December 16th and 17th.
Students must maintain an 85 or above average in a class in order to be exempt. Weighted classes (Accelerated, Pre-AP, DC, AP, OnRamps) will not have points added to semester averages before finals.
Students may not have more than 4 absences in any one period of the class they want to exempt (If the class is double blocked, they cannot have more than four absences for any one period to be eligible for an exemption.)
Students with perfect attendance are granted an extra exemption that can be used in any class as long as they have a 70 average and they meet attendance requirements.

Lubbock-Cooper Food Service Information
For details about Lubbock-Cooper food services, please follow this link. You'll find information on how to add funds to your student’s account, apply for the free and reduced meal program, and view the daily menu options.
Outside Food Delivery
Due to security concerns, no outside entity (DoorDash, Pizza delivery, Chick-fil-a delivery, etc.) will be allowed to drop off lunches for students. Parents/Guardians may bring lunch for their students. Lunch can be dropped off in the front office. Please be sure your student knows they are getting lunch so they can come pick it up in the office.
Attendance Notification Information
Parents are to report student absences including early outs/late arrivals in their Skyward Family Access via an attendance request. This can be done in the app or on a computer and should be completed 48 hours after the absence.
When submitting an Early Out or Late Arrival absence request, please be sure to UNSELECT the ‘all day check mark’. This ensures the attendance office knows what time your child will be leaving and/or arriving. Campus attendance email is for submitting documentation, such as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please contact Morgan Petty at mpetty@lcisd.net or call the front office.
