APRES Dolphins SWIM May '25
An Extraordinary Place to Learn
A Message From Head of School Wilson
Greetings Dolphin Families!
We officially have 4 days left of school. Spring semester is nearing it's end and our scholars and staff have been busy with iReady and GMAS end of year testing. This is the busiest time of year for our scholars and staff. We had field day, and are looking forward to international day and the remainder of our end of year awards programs this week. There are a number of events planned and I hope that your scholar is ready to end the year strong.
We are so proud of our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade scholars who completed GMAS testing last week. They were excited to share how confident they felt about the assessment and did a great job maintaining an orderly environment for testing.
Parents as the school year winds down and the weather becomes warmer, our Dolphins become a little more social and active. We are asking that you all please speak with your students about the importance of meeting academic and social expectations at school. Our goal is to continue to provide a premier learning experience for all Dolphins. If your scholar is not focused and ready to learn, it can create an environment that is not conducive to learning for others. We ask that you continue to encourage productive behavior at school in order for all of our scholars to succeed. Please take time to schedule parent teacher conferences in order to establish a partnership between you and your scholars teacher. Together we can achieve so much more!
I would also like to ask for your support with ensuring our scholars follow the dress code. Shorts should not be more than 3 inches above the knee for any student and no tank top shirts, mid drifts tops, or biking shorts are allowed. Your support is greatly needed with this.
Thank you to those who supported our teachers for teacher appreciation week. An email was shared with you all with some ideas as to how to show appreciation toward your scholar's teacher. As you all know, we have some of the best teachers in the world right here at Randolph.
Thank you to those of you who came out to support our visual and performing arts showcase this year. The artwork was immaculate and the Wiz Jr was a real show stopper. This year is sure to be a treat. I am already looking forward to next year!
