Kindergarten registration will begin on January 6, 2025 for those students who will be entering

Kindergarten in the Fall of 2025. The student must turn 5 years old on or before August 1, 2025 in order

to register. There is a waiver process for children with a birthdate after August 1 st up to August 15th.

The Kindergarten Academy your student will attend is determined by your residence only and not where

other siblings may be attending. To determine which Kindergarten Academy your child will attend,

please go to the Perry Township website at perryschools.org. Go to the For Parents tab, click on

Enrollment, and Boundary Map.

For elementary and incoming kindergarten students currently living in Perry Township, Intra-

District Transfer applications will be accepted January 6-February 7, 2025. Applications will only

be accepted after this period from families that are new to Perry Township. Acceptance letters

will be mailed to households after March 14, 2025. If a parent chooses not to accept the Intra-

district transfer for the 2025-2026 school year, they must notify the office of Assistant

Superintendent for Foundational Learning at The Perry Township Education Center no later than

April 11, 2025. Each Kindergarten Academy will be able to accept up to 20 transfer students.

Intra-District Transfers are good for as long as you are in the school. A new form will need to

be submitted when going into the 6 th grade, or from kindergarten into 1 st grade. Current

transfer students do not need to complete a new form. Requests must be turned into the

requested school by February 7, 2025.
