A Note From Your PIC

Hi Parents/Guardians! My name is Carrie Webster and I am the Parent Involvement Coordinator (PIC) at Tiger Creek Elementary. My primary role is to support our families and provide information on how you can become fully engaged in your child's educational experience. I am committed to helping you feel comfortable and welcome at our schoool. We value your involvement in your child's education; after all, you are their FIRST teacher!

I want to encourage you to visit the Parent Resource Room this school year. The Parent Resource room is the main location for our volunteers to gather and support one another and our teachers. You will find parenting resources along with Title l handouts and school brochures filled with helpful information.

Sign up for updates from me through Remind. I will use this way of communication (starting the week of Sept. 3rd) to inform you of special projects, copies that need to be made, cutting out laminated items, helping in the Media Center, and other ways to support our teachers. The Resource Room will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during school hours for you to volunteer.
