April 11: Two hour early dismissal day

April 14-21: Spring Break

Tennis and walking/running club is cancelled on Monday, April 7. Both intramurals will continue on Wednesday, April 9.

As an incentive for their hard work and good behavior, sixth grade students will have the opportunity for extra recess time on Friday, April 11. Students will not be eligible for this incentive should they receive any disciplinary referrals, including bus referrals, between Monday, April 7 and the time of the incentive activity.

SMCPS & Healthy St. Mary’s are partnering again this year for our Annual Mental Health Fair on May 10th at the James A Forrest Career & Technology Center.

• We are inviting students from all elementary, middle, and high schools to submit artwork for our Annual Mental Health Fair! Artwork should be no larger than 11x14 inches and should reflect this year’s theme: “Be Kind to Your Mind: Engage, Connect, Thrive.”

• Submission Details: Deadline: April 22, 2025

• Where to Submit: Ms. Brennan, MBMS School Social Worker (located in the guidance suite)

• Artwork Requirements: On the back of each piece, please include the student’s full name, student ID number, age, school, and grade.

• The chosen artwork will be displayed at the Mental Health Fair on May 10, 2025, at the James A. Forrest Career & Technology Center. Notification to the student/family will be made for each artwork chosen to be displayed.

There will be a Rising Freshmen Orientation for Spanish speakers on April 9 @ the Lexington Park Library from 5-7 PM.

Do you want to see what current STEM students are learning about and researching?

The STEM Showcase will be on April 24th at GMHS from 5-7 PM.

The PTSO members are parents, teachers and students who are dedicated to promoting the education and welfare of our children. We highly encourage everyone to join our PTSO to show their support. As a member you are welcome to attend all meetings & functions; however, your membership does not require you to participate in these functions. The membership fee is $10.
