A message from our Principal:
Dear Families,
As we wrap up October, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful PTO for organizing fantastic Halloween parties! The students had a wonderful time, and it was such a joy to see so many of our families join in the excitement at our Halloween parade. Your involvement made the day even more memorable for our students.
As we finish the first trimester of the school year and head into November, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of regular attendance. When students attend school consistently, they stay connected to their learning, build upon their knowledge, and benefit from social interactions that are vital for their development. Letβs work together to ensure our students are here, ready to learn each day!
We are also continuing to remind students about the importance of following our schoolβs code of conduct. By respecting each other and our learning environment, our students can make the most of their educational experience. These habits of responsibility and respect contribute to a positive atmosphere where everyone can learn their best.
Looking ahead, November is a month of continuous learning and growth! Our classrooms are buzzing with activities, projects, and lessons designed to inspire curiosity and knowledge. We encourage families to talk at home each night about what your child is reading and learning at school.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and let's continue to make this year a successful and rewarding one for all our students.
Warm regards,
Natalie Czarnecki
Executive Principal
Medinah Intermediate School
From the Dean's Desk:
Good day, Medinah Intermediate School!
As we approach the end of the first trimester and reflect on the past 12 weeks, it's truly inspiring to see how much progress weβve made. Our focus on cultivating positive classroom cultures and celebrating the learning happening in every classroom continues to thrive.
Weβre eagerly looking forward to welcoming the community for our upcoming Halloween parade and PTO parties. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout at McTeacher Night, and we are excited to continue collaborating with our community for future district events. Together, weβll keep the momentum going and celebrate everything that makes our school and district exceptional!
Go Wolverines!

Teacher Spotlight
This week, weβre thrilled to spotlight our amazing LMTC staff β Mrs. Mouser, Mrs. Jasper, and Mrs. Lauk! These dedicated educators are building confident readers at Medinah and fostering a love of literacy that shines. For the past three years, they've encouraged students to get creative by choosing a favorite book character and decorating a pumpkin masterpiece. They also play a key role in making our fall assembly memorable, creating a huge positive impact on our school community. Thank you, Mrs. Mouser, Mrs. Jasper, and Mrs. Lauk, for all you do!
