SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE
MERSD is forming a Library Task Force to evaluate our current library resources, explore best practices in modern library programs, gather input from stakeholders, and offer practical recommendations to improve the quality and impact of our school libraries.
MERSD is looking for volunteers who are collaborative and creative problem solvers to serve on the committee. The committee seeks to include an educator and parent representative from each school, representatives from the town's public libraries, students, and school leaders.
Our first meeting will be held in person on Wednesday, November 20th, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
If you're interested in being part of this team, please fill out the MERSD Library Task Force interest form by November 1st. We'll follow up with more information on the work ahead and the time commitment involved.
