February Monthly Newsletter

Message from Principal Lewis
💝Happy February!
Welcome back to our monthly newsletter. We are excited to get started in a new month and are so happy you are a part of it! There are lots of exciting things we have planned for this month. It's February and we plan to have all our Roarin' Roark Kats showing love by using kind words, gestures, and doing Valentine artwork. I am always PROUD of the hard work of our students in the classroom. The cold winter weather(which will change this week...Texas) has not stopped us from working hard and teaching/learning with HEART!
As we continue to teach independence, please continue to practice the essential skills in the daily folder with your student. Each student is responsible for putting their folder in their backpack, sharing it with you when they get home, and bringing it back to school. Students are expected to clean up after themselves and use manners. We are working towards their independence and being responsible for their learning so that they are Kindergarten-ready! Thanks for all that you do!
Please continue to check Class Dojo for daily news and assignments for the students! As always, we encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Our dedicated teachers and staff are here to support your child and help them reach their full potential. Thak you for entrusting us with your child's education and for being a great support for your children, our teachers, and the school.
With Great Respect,
-Mrs. Calandra Lewis, Principal
