Welcome Back!
We are excited to have all our STARS back on campus! We hope that everyone had a restful summer and spent quality time with their families. We are eager to start the 2024-2025 school year!
Our theme for this school year is "Embrace the Journey!" We know that success is a journey, and we are on a path forward to reach great heights. We will focus on increasing student success with targeted steps including student goal setting and goal monitoring. We cannot wait to see all our students learn and grow this school year.

AVID
We are an AVID School. AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination. As an AVID school, we get students thinking about life after their K-12 learning experience. Our teachers are trained in WICOR strategies and use these strategies during instruction every day. Be sure to ask your child how they are using WICOR Strategies in their classrooms!
The Arts
Academy of Fine Arts
We are a designated elementary school with a Fine Arts Choice Program. As such, we offer a variety of arts learning opportunities here at PAFA including dance, drama, visual arts, music, and strings (orchestra). All students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade experience the arts during our block time. Fifth Grade students have the ability to select and participate in arts majors and minors during their school day. Please be on the lookout for more information on our shows and arts events throughout this school year.
