Note From Mr. White
We have had a great start to the school year. The First Nine Weeks ended on Friday October 21st. Report Cards will go home on Friday 10/28. We are looking forward to a great Second Nine Weeks. Go Trojans!!
Arrival to School
Our school doors open at 7:30 AM. When students enter the building they are able to grab breakfast and go to their Advisory class. Advisory begins promptly at 7:45 AM. Students that arrive after 7:45 AM will be marked tardy and must check in at the main office. Car riders can get out of their car anywhere along the sidewalk.
Beautiful Tomorrow Assembly
On Monday all MMS students participated in the Beautiful Tomorrow Assembly. The students and faculty enjoyed the positive message sent to students about their future and their potential.
MMS Football Schedule
The football team is currently 3-1 with three games remaining this season. The team has outscored their opponents 80-35 this season.
MMS Basketball Schedule
Basketball season hasn't started yet but here is a look at the upcoming schedule. Tryouts will take place at a later date TBD.
Incentive / Pep Rally
Both the students and staff participated in our very first Incentive / Pep Rally on Friday 10/21. During this time we recognized our Fall Sports teams, Academics, Positive Referrals, and so much more. The school participated in various games and names were drawn for prizes. To date our staff has given out 202 positive referrals to our students.

Green and Gold Dance
Friday October 21st the MMS students got a chance to show off their dance moves at the Green and Gold Dance. Special thanks to DJ Mickey T for keeping everyone energized and to the PTO and volunteers who were there to chaperone and help serve pizza and snacks during the event.
Upcoming Events
10/25 thru 10/28 Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually, on October 23-31 in the United States. Please show your support and WEAR RED on Wednesday October 26, 2022.
Thursday 10/27 - Wear Pink
The MMS Faculty, Staff, and Students are encouraged to wear pink on Thursday 10/27, to show their support in bringing awareness to breast cancer.
Wednesday 11/2 - Parent Teacher Conf.
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place at MMS on November 2nd from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Friday - 11/4 - College Day (8th grade students)
The College Day field trip for 8th grade students will be Friday 11/4.
Friday - 11/4 - Picture Day
MMS picture day will take place on Friday 11/4 for 6th and 7th grade students. 8th grade students will take pictures on December 2nd (make-up picture day)
11/9 and 11/10 - Hearing Screening (7th grade students)
We will conduct our hearing screenings for 7th grade students on Wednesday 11/9 and Thursday 11/10 through Health/PE classes.
