LMHS Student Performs With Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra
Shout out to LMHS Freshman, Isabella Villanueva!
She recently participated in a concert with the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra at the University of Dayton Roger Glass Center.
Isabella is an oboist in her first year with DPYO. She is one of only two freshmen who successfully auditioned into this orchestra during spring auditions. She is a member of the Symphonic Band at LMHS.
Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra was founded in 1937 and is the third oldest youth orchestra in the United States, behind only New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony youth orchestras.

LM Alumni Spotlight
Sydney Kilgore
As a senior at Little Miami High School, Sydney Kilgore completed an internship at the UC Health West Chester Hospital. It made her realize that PT was just a small piece of the healthcare puzzle, but if confirmed her desire to be a physical therapist.
After graduating Little Miami High School in 2020, Sydney completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio Northern University where she majored in Clinical Exercise Physiology and minored in Strength and Conditioning.
Currently, she is a first-year student in the University of Dayton's Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and plans to graduate in 2027.
William Zegarski
2022 Little Miami High School graduate William Zegarski was a four-year letter winner in both cross country and track at LMHS. Upon graduation, he earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors, All-American status, was a two-time state champion and logged 14 school records before enrolling at Butler University in Indianapolis...Additionally, William was an Honor roll student, AP Scholar and Top 10% of his class. William is the son of Daniel and Heather...has two brothers, Michael and Nathan. Michael was a member of Little Miami's 2024 team which finished No. 3 in Ohio and he was named All-Ohio along the way.
This past November, William led the Butler Bulldogs to the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin where he placed 17th and earned All-American status. New Interpreter Lines for Little Miami Families
As part of our commitment to effective communication with our families, we are excited to announce that we now have three dedicated phone lines available for families who speak Uzbek, Russian, or Spanish. By calling these numbers, families will first be connected to an interpreter before being routed to the district office and the appropriate building.

Mercy Health and Little Miami Local Schools would like to remind you that the Health Clinic is open & ready to assist your needs, ESPECIALLY DURING THE SUMMER!
Mary Compton, FMP, is a helpful medical professional capable of treating sickness symptoms, serving as a primary care option, providing vaccinations, and even doing sports physicals.

Fiscal Focus
The Little Miami school district has seen continued growth over the years in terms of the number of homes in the area and the corresponding increases in enrollment. But how does Little Miami compare to the rest of Warren County and to the state with regards to enrollment?
As you can see below, data compiled from the most recent state report card for the 2023-2024 school year, Little Miami is the third largest district in Warren County. As compared to the entire state, which has a district average size of approximately 2,358 students, Little Miami is in the top 91% of districts in enrollment.
With the continued growth in the area, Little Miami is sure to maintain growth each year.
