Goldilocks on Trial
This past weekend, Westfield Middle School took the stage for their Spring play, Goldilocks on Trial!
In this twist on the classic fairytale, Goldilocks finds herself in court facing charges from the Three Bears for breaking and entering, eating their porridge, and causing chaos in their home. Under the direction of Rhonda Johnson, the cast and crew delivered a fantastic performance, bringing laughter and energy to the stage. Congratulations to our talented Shamrocks on a job well done!

WWS Families: New Cafeteria Finger Scanning System
Westfield Washington Schools is introducing a new finger scanning system for meal checkout to enhance efficiency in our cafeterias. This secure technology replaces PIN numbers and barcodes, reducing wait times and streamlining the process for students.
The system does not store fingerprint images. Instead, it converts touchpoint measurements into an encrypted alphanumeric code that cannot be reversed or used outside of meal checkout. All data is securely stored on district servers and protected under FERPA regulations.
By implementing this system, students will spend more time eating and less time waiting in line, eliminating concerns about lost cards or forgotten ID numbers. Families who prefer to opt-out may do so by contacting Food Services Director Paul Sherrer at sherrerp@wws.k12.in.us.
We appreciate your support as we roll out this new system and continue our commitment to providing all students with a safe, efficient, and convenient experience. The pilot program will begin in ten days.
