Dear War Eagle Families,
Happy New Year and welcome to the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to see our students back, refreshed, and ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities. The start of a new semester is the perfect time for students to set goals, focus on academic success, and make the most of the resources available to them.
As we move forward, we encourage families to review first-semester report cards, which have been posted to the Parent Portal. This is a great opportunity to reflect on achievements and identify areas for growth in the months ahead. Please also remind your students of a few important expectations:
- Wear IDs daily to ensure safety and accountability.
- Follow the dress code to maintain a positive and respectful school environment.
- Stay on top of classwork and use good time management to balance academics, extracurriculars, and personal responsibilities.
Encourage your students to utilize all resources, including tutoring, study groups, and teacher office hours, to stay on track and avoid falling behind. With commitment and focus, every student can achieve their goals.
Looking ahead, please note there will be no school on Monday, January 20th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This holiday is a meaningful time to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and the values of equality and service to others.
