GMS Parent/Teacher Conferences are right around the corner. Families will be using the same new system to sign-up for conferences as in October. Please see the following section for Parent/Teacher Conference Sign-up directions. Parent/Teacher Conference dates at GMS are:

Attention 8th Grade Families:

We are excited to extend the invitation to 8th Grade Family Night at United Township High School (UTHS), where you will learn all about the transition to high school for your student.

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, January 30

• Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm

• Location: UTHS Auditorium

During this informative session, you’ll hear from UTHS staff about the following topics:

• Class Scheduling Process: Learn how students will select courses for the upcoming school year.

• High School Offerings: Get an overview of the academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support services available at UTHS.

• Introduction to High School: Understand what to expect as your student transitions from middle school to high school, including key milestones and resources.

• Who to Reach Out To: Discover who to contact for questions about academics, counseling, and more.

There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the event to address any specific questions or concerns you may have.

Please use the tutorials below on how to view your student's grades within the OTUS Platform. Families will need to follow the directions to create a Family Account. If you are needing your "Student Code" please ask your student to log-in to OTUS, it is a # along with a series of numbers and letters - please note that the "Student Code" is case sensitive. If you have questions please let us know, we are happy to assist.

From the Nurses Clinic: When a student is suspected of having a viral illness causing vomiting or diarrhea, such as the Norovirus, the ill person should stay home for 24 hours after the last vomiting/diarrhea episode to reduce exposure to others. Students may “vomit” for reasons that are not contagious. It is the school nurse’s assessment that determines whether a student can return before 24 hours or stay in school.
